This is a sales job and does require a sales mindset where you are enthralled by the prospect of no cap on your earning potential. You will be working on the phone with people and face to face with clients as they come in from time to time. You also will develop relationships with lenders, realtors, auto sales reps and others to develop your own warm leads as you grow in your personal business. As you sell insurance policies I share a portion of the renewal income with you so you build your own mini book of business within the agency. We have an open office environment so that we can help and assist each other as problems arise.

Salary Range: $30000.00 - $100000.00 per year

Responsibilities


Essential Functions:

  • Maintain a positive attitude in spite of adversity.
  • Follow the Sales Process in every sales interaction.
  • Make outbound calls to obtain and work with prospects with a minimum of 80+ Calls for 3+ Hours OR 3+ Items Written Daily.
  • Work provided warm lead lists as assigned using the lead management system.
  • Make the Agency Manager aware of any situation which should be monitored concerning any client having suspicious or frequent claims.
  • Follow-up on all new business clients to include life insurance discussions and asking for referrals.
  • Attend all office meetings to plan growth and address concerns and upcoming classes and/or updates.
  • Always work towards improving office efficiency and controlling expenses.
  • Cross sell existing clients following the lead with review process.
  • Perfect compliance with all Farmers and Henslee Agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Handle service work as necessary. Although we are a highly specialized office, occasional service work will be necessary.
  • Actively review, improve, and increase product knowledge skills.
  • DAILY TRAINING REQUIRED for a minimum of 2 videos first thing every morning. (Sharpening the axe)
  • Assist other employees as necessary (initial training, questions, general assistance, etc)


Requirements


  • The study materials, tests and licenses are all paid for and provided by the agency
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
  • A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.
  • Prior Sales Experience.
  • Must be highly self-motivated.
  • A terrific presenter and communicator, and a barracuda closer.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
  • Driven and goal-oriented individual.
  • Be capable of handling customer rejection.
  • Minimum 1 year prior sales experience preferred.
  • Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.
  • No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn
